PRESCHOOL PROGRAM LONGITUDINAL STUDY RESULTS

The Reading Team’s Preschool Program is the subject of a longitudinal study that has followed the literacy development of two groups of children from our Preschool Program through the early elementary grades. The study has established that children who participate in our Preschool Program typically:

  • gain more than 50 percentiles in reading ability during their year in the program
  • maintain their literacy gains and keep pace with their peers, even three years after their completion of the program.
