PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
We give a wide variety of classroom instructional materials to the teachers in the day care centers and Head Start programs with which we work. Our professional staff demonstrates literacy-nurturing classroom activities for the teachers and meets several times a year to discuss their classroom programs and offer suggestions for strengthening early literacy instruction. Our Program Director also works with the teachers in their classrooms and conducts workshops at the day care and Head Start sites.
